California Judicial Council Form Automation

California court forms, filled from your case data. Not by hand.

Pull your case data once. CourtDocs auto-fills the current Judicial Council form, flags anything that needs your review, and exports a filing-ready PDF. No retyping the caption block.

Start filling forms free No credit card required.

Every form is built on the current Judicial Council revision and double-checked before release. Your case data is encrypted in transit. Exporting a finished PDF requires a California bar number on your profile.

Built for the attorneys and paralegals who prepare California civil litigation filings.

  • Built by a practicing California litigator
  • Built on the official Judicial Council templates
  • Maintained on the current revision
  • Encrypted in transit
  • Your data is never used to train AI

The status quo

The caption block gets retyped on every form. CourtDocs ends that.

CourtDocs pulls the caption from data you already have and fills the forms in your filing at once. Here's what it replaces.

Re-keying the same caption

The attorney, bar number, parties, and case number get typed by hand onto CM-110, then MC-025, then POS-010. The same block, every form, every filing.

Bounced at intake

Miss a required field and the clerk rejects the filing. You often find out days later, with a deadline closing in.

Fillable PDFs only go so far

The official PDFs don't pull from your case data, don't carry the caption across forms, and don't flag what's still missing before you file.

How it works

From case data to a filing-ready PDF in three steps.

  1. 01

    Enter the case once

Client, parties, case number, your caption block. Enter it a single time, or reuse it from a case you've already created in CourtDocs.

  2. 02

    CourtDocs fills the fields

Each Judicial Council field is pre-populated from your case data. Anything we can't source is flagged for your review.

  3. 03

    Review, approve, export

Check the filled form, approve it, and export a flattened, filing-ready PDF. File it through your own e-filing service or at the clerk's window.

You stay in control

Built for the bar, not for the demo.

CourtDocs removes the retyping. It never removes your judgment. You review and approve every form against the official template before it leaves your hands.

  • We fill the fields; you review, approve, and sign. The filing is always yours.
  • Every form is built on the current Judicial Council revision and double-checked before we release it.
  • Your case data travels over an encrypted connection (HTTPS), and we never sell it.

What "ready to file" means here

Built on the current Judicial Council revision. Filled from your case data. Flattened to a standard PDF you review, then file through your own e-filing service or at the clerk's window.

Nothing is submitted to a court without you.

FAQ

Questions, answered.

Which forms do you cover?

CourtDocs covers the California civil litigation forms: case management, proof of service, discovery, law-and-motion, judgment and enforcement, and the attachments that go with them. Every form is filled from the current official Judicial Council template and double-checked before release. If a civil form you need is not in the catalog yet, tell us when you sign up and we will prioritize it.

Is the output accepted at the clerk's window?

CourtDocs fills the official Judicial Council templates and exports a flattened, filing-ready PDF: the same form you'd file today, with the fields completed. You review and approve every form before it leaves your hands.

Do you file the document for me?

No. CourtDocs gives you a filing-ready PDF. You file it the way you already do: through your own e-filing service or at the clerk's window. We deliberately do not sit between you and the court.

Why not just use the free fillable PDFs from the courts?

Those PDFs are free and official, but every field is manual: you retype the caption on each form, track revisions yourself, and nothing flags a missing required field. CourtDocs starts from those same official templates and fills them from your case data, carries the caption across forms, and tells you what still needs review.

How do you keep up with template revisions?

We track the Judicial Council's revisions: we check the Council's published forms on a regular schedule and re-ingest a form when it changes, so you work from the current official version rather than an outdated one.

Where does my case data live?

Your data travels over an encrypted (HTTPS) connection and is stored on encrypted, US-based infrastructure. Each firm's data is walled off from every other firm's, enforced in our code rather than by policy alone. We never sell your data, we never use it to train AI or send it to third-party AI providers, and we share it only with the vetted vendors we need to run the service: hosting, email, and payments. Our privacy policy names each one.

What does it cost, and how do I start?

Sign up free, no credit card. Plans start at $69/month for a solo practitioner: one flat price per practice, no per-form fees (see the pricing section above), and the first 25 practices get founding-member pricing, 25% off for 12 months.
